iOS 6 has Wi-Fi issues that was resolved later in the day
Just what went wrong, anyway? Apparently, it seems that had to do with a deleted web page on Apple’s servers. Let us explain, iOS 4 normally pinged a page on Apple’s servers (http://www.apple.com/library/test/success.html), where upon a successful ping, the WiFi connection was deemed to have hooked up, but make the assumption that you were on a network that required a login if otherwise. Somebody must have deleted that page from the server by accident, resulting in failed pings worldwide, but since then, the page has been restored, with everything running in a peachy keen manner. All’s well that ends well, no?
