The $1 billion company known as Instagram (after being bought up by Facebook, of course) might actually make an appearance on the Windows Phone 8 platform sometime down the road. After all, Microsoft did work on making sure that most of the popular mobile apps out there will also have a presence on the Windows Phone platform. After all, good hardware can only go so far, it is the software that is said to be the lifeblood of modern day devices. All is good and well though, as we have seen our fair share of apps on the iOS and Android platforms making their way to the Windows Phone Marketplace, such as the PayPal app for Windows Phone. How about Instagram?
Nothing has been confirmed yet as at press time, but a recent promotional video released by Nokia did show off what could very well be an Instagram app running on the Windows Phone platform. Of course, there is no way to verify or confirm this snippet of information, but it would not be too crazy to think that Instagram is headed for the Windows Phone 8 platform, would it?
