First we have the SIM card, and now we have the micro SIM, and later in the future, you will get the nano SIM. What you see above could very well be a leaked version of the upcoming iPhone 5, which allegedly comes with a new nano SIM design that is said to be 40% smaller than existing SIM cards, and it will also help free up more space in the insides of the smartphone so that the overall form factor can be smaller if needed. Not only that, there are whispers around that European carriers have already placed orders of large quantities of nano SIM cards in order to prepare for the iPhone 5’s launch.
Not only that, it seems that the iPhone 5’s home button has also appeared in this particular leak. The design will remain the same, although the component has lost some weight – or rather, size, which we think is part of the ploy to make more room for a spanking new display on the iPhone 5.
