LG Optimus 2X might receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich after all

Confucius says that this particular scenario is very confusing! After all, we are talking about the LG Optimus 2X that has yet to receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, although at one point in time, it seemed to be certain that this particular smartphone will not receive any such update, but the tides does seem to have turned, with a statement from LG’s primary Korean arm reporting otherwise, that there is a new update in the pipeline.

Of course, this could very well be an instance of language being a barrier to clear communication, and who are we to say that further testing is required? After all, the LG Optimus 2X was released early last year, and this is no spring chicken by any means in the world of modern day smartphones. The best prescription for such a situation? Adopt a wait and see stance, of course. If it happens, it happens – otherwise, c’est la vie.
