The Mobile World Congress that happened in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this year, saw the announcement of the new HTC One range of smartphones, with the HTC One X being the flagship model of the entire group, while the HTC One V is a good looking entry level smartphone. Well, it seems that there is a potentially new model to hit the market soon – this fall, in fact, and we are talking about the HTC Proto. It is said that this model will sit nicely under the HTC One S level, but will remain on top of the HTC One V, of course. According to The Verge, the HTC Proto does carry a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8225 processor which is ably accompanied by 512MB RAM, a 4-inch Super LCD display with WVGA resolution, 4GB of internal memory, and a 5-megapixel camera located at the back. Not only that, the HTC Proto will also feature HSPA network support, in addition to Beats Audio just like most of the more recent HTC smartphones.
