Folks in Australia, if you happen to rock to the HTC One XL and HTC One S, here is a little bit of good news to perk up your Friday. After all, it is the last day of the week already, so you might want to kick back your legs and savor the moment even if for a little while. Basically, Telstra of Australia has announced that HTC is working on rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for its One XL and One S smartphones. However, it must be noted that HTC themselves have yet to deliver any information on potential launch dates for the updates, so keep your fingers crossed that the wait need not be too long.
It is coming, but it ain’t here yet. Other HTC smartphones which in all probability, will be on the receiving end of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean would include the HTC Sensation (and its variations), HTC Rezound, HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE, HTC Evo 4G LTE, and HTC Velocity.
