Google has rolled out the factory image for their most recently announced tablet device, the Nexus 7. Asus is the hardware manufacturer behind the Nexus 7, and this tablet will also hold the distinction of being the first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered device in the market. What would be the whole idea of rolling out a full OS factory image for this particular tablet? Well, power users will definitely find it useful, as it would mean they are able to throw their weight of customization, tweaking as well as hacking behind the tablet, and just in case things do go wrong (which they most probably will when one is on a learning curve), it is just a simple matter of flashing back the factory image, and everything will return to a stable state. As easy as ABC, don’t you think so?
