Do you own a Sony Xperia S smartphone? If you have answered in the affirmative and love this Android-powered device to bits, then here is a bit of news for the more adventurous among you. Basically, if you figured out that the stock Android operating system is just too boring and needs to be spiced up, you are in for a treat thanks to the introduction of CyanogenMod 10 Alpha for the Xperia S which will be based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. Having rolled out earlier today as promised earlier, this is made possible thanks to the Team Free Xperia developer team’s efforts over the weeks prior. Known as the FXP130 version, it will deliver all the basic goodness of CyanogenMod 10, including Wi-Fi, data and Bluetooth connectivity. A word of caution though – the camera will still be out of commission at this point in time, so hopefully future iterations of the custom ROM will work like a charm.
