Adobe Flash support on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean?

When Google released Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich last year, Adobe announced that they will not be supporting Flash anymore on the mobile platform. However, Adobe has decided that they will not cause folks to quit the mobile Flash experience in cold turkey, hence continuing support for Flash on Ice Cream Sandwich. However, things are very different with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and Adobe finally ended support for Flash with this latest iteration of the Jelly Bean operating system.

Good to know that there are some folks out there who decided that they will not be taking this lying down, and have come up wtih a way to have mobile Flash up and running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is not a very simple process to begin with, as there are necessary steps to go through, although you will be required to download and install a browser which supports Adobe’s plugin in the process. One way would be to manually install the old Android Browser, and turn on all its permissions yourself, with the choice of installing a third-party browser such as Firefox as well. Have you given it a go already?
