While the carrier has outed a somewhat vague date and says it will “ship by July 11”, the folks at HHGregg have revealed on their website that the phone itself will be available on the 12th of July, making the 11th of July shipping date very plausible. The 12th of July is also a Thursday, a day which Verizon has favored in the past when launching new devices. Hopefully this also means that the phone will be available not just from HHGregg, but from Verizon’s retail stores and websites as well. In the meantime interested customers can get the phone from HHGregg for $199.99 on contract for the 16GB version. The 32GB version will not be offered by the retailer, so if you’d prefer more storage capacity, you’ll have to head over to Verizon’s own store where you can pick it up for $249.99.
