Sony Xperia Go spotted at the FCC

The Sony Xperia Go was officially announced in May, and if you were wondering when the device would arrive and which carrier you might be able to get it from, the handset was recently spotted at the FCC with both 2,100MHz and 900MHz radio bands that appears to be meant for 3G networks in other countries. That being said, this particular model is the international version of the handset which means that it should play nice with both 3G and EDGE networks in the US. This could also mean that it might not be offered on contract or tied to any particular carrier, but since there is no official word yet we will refrain from speculating too much for now. Apart from that, not much else was revealed in the FCC filing that we did not already know, such as its ruggedness, its 3.5″ 320×480 touchscreen display, a dual-core 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread preinstalled. If this sounds like a handset you wouldn’t mind owning, be sure to check back with us in the future for more updates.
