If you’re looking for an Android handset capable of 4G LTE connectivity that runs on stock Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, then the Galaxy Nexus is probably the device you’re interested in. Launched back in 2011, it seems that Verizon is now discounting the handset rather heavily as part of its new Summer Sale. The handset will now be offered to customers for a very affordable $149 along with a new two-year contract, so if the Galaxy Nexus is the handset that you’ve been eyeing all this while, then now might be a good time to get it. Originally priced at $299 when it was first launched, it has since dropped to $199 before being offering at $149 with the new promotion. While the handset still has a couple of months left before it is a year old, the folks at Best Buy have listed its as being at the end of its life. We’re not sure if they got their info wrong or if they know something that we don’t, but with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3, we guess a lot of handsets have taken the backseat. Pop on over to Verizon’s website for the details.
