WordPress for Android Officially Released; Beta No More

Over here at Uberphones we spend countless of hours using the blogging platform, WordPress and since we enjoy what we do, we are huge fans of WordPress. If you have been using the beta version of the Android application however, you might only have been able to use an incomplete version which served as the public tester. Now however, you can rejoice because the developers have officially released its completed WordPress v2.1 for Android.

The features that come with version 2.1 are an autosave timer while editing posts which provides windows of 60 seconds after which posts will be autosaved, comments can now be edited on your Android device, the width of linked images can be customized, a new reader has been applied with faster navigation, comments can be posted with the additional ability to share posts to other Android applications.

Besides that, the developer made some improvements to the UI, the most notably one being the delete post button that has been moved to a less prominent spot to avoid accidental deletion, reliability improvements, translation updates and finally the icon for the application itself has been updated.
