Vertu Gets Candy Colored Range of Touchscreen Phones
Understanding the demand of Vertu phones isn’t something that I fully grasp but what I do understand is that there are always groups of people that enjoy certain things that others might not. In short; to each his own. Now apparently, the company has released a new range of phones called the Vertu Constellation Candy. The phone comes in three different colors, Constellation Candy Mint Green, Raspberry and Tangerine.
The phones come with a 3.5-inch nHD high-contrast AMOLED display that is protected by Sapphire crystal, high fidelity 11mm x 15mm loudspeaker and exclusive ring tones and alerts that have been performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. LG has been rather quiet about developing its very own mobile chipset design for some time already, where the first Nuclun SoC will soon be followed up by – surprise, surprise, the Nuclun 2. This is not the first time that the Nuclun 2 name was brought up, and up till now, there has been no devices that were released with Nuclun 2 at its heart, although that might change with the upcoming V10 successor if rumors prove to be correct.
In other words, the LG V10’s successor will most probably be released some time in the second half of the coming year, which means it will be some time before it ends up as a shipping product. It also remains to be seen whether the Nuclun 3 will hit the streets in the near future, but as with most other cases, patience is definitely called for.
