Sony Tablet P to get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on May 24 Starting in Japan

Sony has revealed its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Tablet P dual-screen tablet. Only after a month after the electronics giant sent out the firmware update for the Sony Tablet S, both devices were apparently to get the update by the end of April but it seems that the Tablet P update took just a little longer. For now, the only changes we can see Ice Cream Sandwich bringing to the Tablet P are the “Small Apps” feature as well as the ‘Camera’ shortcut directly from the home screen.

Besides, that a mobile/desktop switching function with just the press of a button has also been allegedly implemented in Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Sony Tablet P.
