Samsung Galaxy S3 Shows Up in User Agent Profile for Sprint

After reports indicated that all 4 major carriers would be getting Samsung’s latest Galaxy S3 smartphone, there were many speculations as to the form of processor that US carriers will be receiving. Now a leaked user agent profile from Sprint may be able to provide some answers for at least one of the four carriers. The folks over at PocketNow were able to dig up the document and it showed what seemed to be a mysterious device which was running on the carrier’s new LTE network. It carried the model number SPH-L710. From the specifications listed in the document, the device shared many of the specifications available on the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300).

That said however, there was one difference; it showed that the device contained one of Qualcomm’s dual-core S4 processors as opposed to the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor that comes on the international variant. In addition to that, the international version of the device is said to come in 3 different sizes, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB but the one listed in the leaked user agent profile indicates that it has 16GB of internal memory but has a microSD card slot capable of supporting up to 64GB of memory expansion. As usual with speculations and leaks like this one, it is wise to take it with a pinch of salt as long as nothing has been officially announced yet.
