The South Korean technology giant, Samsung has been known to have a vastly different mobile device strategy than its fierce rival Apple. As opposed to Apple which would rather release just one phone and one tablet a year, Samsung’s blatantly obvious strategy is to manufacture a plethora of devices which apparently is for everyone who is looking for any type of device at all. Now, another smartphone has been announced and this time, it is a mid-range device that runs on Google’s
Android platform.

The phone which features a curved glass like the Galaxy Nexus comes with a textured soft-touch back cover and will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It will be packed with a 1GHz processor, a 3.5-inch HVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, a 3MP rear-facing camera, 1500mAh Li-on battery, 1GB of internal memory with a microSD slot that allows expansion up to 32GB, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, EVDO Rev, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and when purchased, it will ship with a bundled 2GB microSD card.
