Nokia Psi Windows Phone 8 Shows Up in Benchmark Results

Prior to this article, another Nokia device called the Nokia Fluid was spotted running the upcoming Windows Phone 8 Apollo OS. Now apparently, a device called the Nokia Psi which is likely just a codename was spotted among some WP Bench benchmark results. The exact Windows Phone OS build that the device was running was 8.0.9698.0 that is allegedly the software’s latest version for now.

For now, nothing else is known about the device or Windows Phone 8, but it seems to be a positive thing that Microsoft is moving forward with what seem to be the testing phase of its next OS installment. With the Windows Phone Developer Summit set to take off around June 20, there is a chance regardless of how remote, that we might be seeing a full release of Microsoft’s next mobile OS.

For now, what we can tell you in all certainty is that the both, the Fluid and the Psi are two different devices and not just the same handset listed with two different identifiers. Having more devices can’t possibly be a bad thing I guess, just as far as Apple isn’t concerned.
