The Nokia Lumia 900 is currently the top dog where Windows Phone smartphones are concerned for the Finnish smartphone manufacturer, but just because you have a flagship device does not mean you are exempt from it being bug-free. There are some owners of the Nokia Lumia 900 who have reported that the display does seem to cast a strange purple tint whenever the display’s brightness level was adjusted in a downward trend. Nokia has already publicly acknowledged this issue, and are looking into how the necessary steps can be taken in order to remedy the situation. In fact, they tweeted that a fix is coming in a future software update which is set to happen.
The very same tweet did not mention just how soon the software update will arrive, but at least it is a software issue which can be fixed through an update, instead of having to rely on handset recalls which could prove to be far costlier and being more of a hassle. We will just have to keep a close eye on official Nokia channels as to when the fix will arrive then.
