Logitech Reveals Solar Keyboard Folio Dock for your iPad

Computer hardware company Logitech has revealed something for your iPad which Greenpeace would definitely nod in agreement with. The Solar Keyboard Polio will protect your beloved iPad (either the new iPad or otherwise) and keep itself fully charged with only the power of the sun. The keyboard dock cum case will ship in what Logitech describes as an ultra-slim design that protects your iPad in the front and also the back. If you ever need to type something in a hurry or if you’re just bored with touching the screen, flip over the cover and go crazy netbook style.

Naturally, most keyboard docks nowadays come with a battery that has to be charged but with this one, even indoor light works so you don’t have to leave it in your car if you prefer staying at home over the weekend. According to what Logitech says it can allegedly last up to 2 years on a full charge and while that remains to be seen thus far, we will have to take the company’s word for it. If you like the way it looks and are looking for an alternative that is green (not color-wise) like this one, you can expect it to retail soon for $129.99.
