iMac G4 Converted to iPad Stand

A Reddit user with the handle cwtfozzy decided to breathe new life into one of his newer Apple products with one of his older Apple products. Fozzy used the bulbous iMac G4 as a steady holder that had a stand for his iPad protruding out the top of it. According to him, many people would like to do the same with their old iMacs and he will be coming up with a DIY video soon but for now, he is content with some simple instructions.

Cwtfozzy said, “Gut your mac out completely, clean the dust out of it, remove the screen. I need to get the proper tools to feed the power through the arm but you can do that at a later stage. Fix the wall mount to the arm with a screw from the internal base unit. I covered the screws so it would (not) scratch the back of the iPad but it’s unnecessary.” This awesome innovation makes me tingle and right now I’m looking for some of my old stuff that I can turn into something cool and new for my tech gadgets.
