Huawei MediaPad Gets Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Despite being in users hands for almost 6 months, many Android devices are yet to get their update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. That said however, it seems like more and more devices seem to be getting their slice of the pie on a daily basis but still many have been left in the lurch for now. Today, another update which is 330MB large brings Android 4.0 to another device which is the Huawei 7-inch MediaPad tablet.

Unlike many of the devices who receive their update over-the-air (OTA) this one requires users to download it onto their computers before applying it on their tablet. The report also states that T-Mobile users need not apply but with regards to that, it seems that for that carrier’s version of the tablet, the update is still in the works and has not yet officially made its way out.
