Facebook To Try For Another Smartphone? [Rumor]

There has been a rumor floating about the internet that the social networking giant  Facebook has gotten over its endeavor last year to create a Facebook-smartphone. The HTC ChaCha definitely had an interesting concept behind it in theory, but sales wise, it was definitely not what the heavies over at Facebook had in mind. The point in time when rumors of this nature started being spread happened sometime after Google successfully acquired Motorola Mobility and since then, it has been reported to be working on an internal smartphone project, again.

While the information is still a rumor and has neither been confirmed nor denied by the folks over at Facebook, it seems that a separate rumor brings information that it has brought in former Apple employees who apparently worked on the iPhone. For now, there hasn’t been any information with regards to the hardware or software specifications attached to the device. With that said however, do take this information with a pinch of salt until something more reliable comes along.
