Facebook Launches Facebook Camera App for iOS

After its $1billion acquisition of popular photo-sharing application Instagram a while back, it seems that Facebook has now stepped up its efforts and used the new technology to launch a new camera application for iOS Facebook users. When you see the application for the first time and if you have used Instagram before, you will notice a great number of similarities especially with the filters that are showcased in the new application.

The purpose of the mobile iOS app is to make uploading and viewing Facebook photos faster and easier. In addition to the filters that was mentioned above, the app apparently also allows users to upload multiple photos at once. For now, it is hard to see just how this new application will affect Instagram but in due time, we should be able to see some effects whether negative or otherwise.
