Asus Transformer Pad TF300TL Hits FCC

The Asus Transformer TF400T is a tablet that features a 10-inch display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a quad-core Tegra 3 processor. Apparently with the addition of the letter ‘L’ at the back of that model number, you get an LTE variant of it. It seems that a device with exactly that description showed up at the FCC earlier this week.

The FCC filings didn’t indicate whether or not the LTE capable tablet was still running the quad-core Tegra 3 processor that doesn’t support LTE connectivity but if this device has been added with the blazing fast connectivity feature, the safe money would be on the fact that Asus has gone with a different processor; perhaps the Snapdragon Qualcomm dual-core processor that the American variant of the HTC One X received.

With all that said and done, what the filings did reveal was that the Transformer Pad TF300TL by Asus features 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, GSM and WCDMA 3G connectivity, LTE 4G support, Bluetooth and GPS. Moreover, it also has an SD card slot, headphone jack and an HDMI port. We don’t know if the tablet that landed at the FCC will still have the same 10-inch display with its resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels or not, but when we hear something official about it, we will be sure to let you know.
