Angry Birds Space: World’s Fastest Growing Mobile Game

Rovio has found a new point of success with its latest installment of the popular Angry Birds franchise, Angry Birds Space. In just 35 days, Rovio’s Angry Birds Space has officially become the world’s fastest growing mobile game by accumulating a staggering 50 million downloads. Of course in just 35 days, it even smashes all the previous records that were held by the other versions of Angry Birds prior to this one.

Although this new landmark is more than enough reason for celebration, the folks over at Rovio who are reported to be thrilled are already concentrating what will allegedly be the company’s next big thing. The developer is apparently looking “to continue to build software experiences that reach a broad audience.” With the mind-numbing numbers of more than 50 million downloads in just 35 days, the “next big thing” does have some pretty large shoes to fill when it eventually shows up.
