ZeeBox Social TV App Lands for Android

The social TV app ZeeBox has just arrived on the platform and is available now in the Google Play Store. With the beta version of ZeeBox you will be able to share what you view with your friends, check out tweets that are relevant to your favorite programs and you will also be able to control your TV or Virgin TiVo from the app itself.

Although the Android version of the app does seem very similar to the iOS version it is still lacking a few features which are reportedly to be bridged in an upcoming update but there will still be a one thing that has been left out for a reason unknown to us. With the Android beta version, you will still be able to have program selection, sharing and controlling privileges but you will not be able to set the 7-day planner which works as a reminder for your favorite programs. The app is available for free at the Google Play Store so wait no longer and go give it a whirl.
