Vodafone UK; First to Announce that it will Be Selling the Samsung Galaxy S3

After a Galaxy filled yesterday, the news about the epic upcoming device just keeps coming. UK carrier Vodafone is the first telecom operator to officially announce that it will be carrying what is called ‘the next galaxy’ smartphone in its arsenal of devices. While the news is surprising, the fact that the S3 will be launching in London, England on May 3^rd does provide some justification as to why the smartphone would make its first sale in England as well.

There is no doubt in our minds though that the phone will eventually make its way to major carriers across the globe but this is the first official news of a carrier that not only made such an announcement but is actively gettings its customers to sign up for future updates on the upcoming device. For now, there are no solid details regarding the phone but rumors have indicated that it will land with a quad-core Exynos processor and runs Android 4.0 Gingerbread.
