Verizon’s LG Spectrum Gets Update; Bump to Android 2.3.6

Verizon is set to roll out an update for the LG Spectrum. The update titled VS920ZV5 will bring the Android version on the phone to 2.3.6 and what is included in this hefty update is a plethora of changes. Many apps including NFL Mobile 4.0, My Verizon, Google Play, Gmail and the Amazon Kindle app will be updated. There have been fixes for minor glitches included in the latest software update some of which are for the calendar alert timing and force close issues when searching for Wi-Fi networks.
