Update for Nokia Lumia 710 and 800 to Release: Internet Tethering Included

Recently, there have been reports for an update that brings the internet tethering feature to Windows Phones Nokia Lumia 710 and 800. According to the folks over at TheVerge, the Finnish mobile manufacturers are prepping the update for release as we speak. For some versions of the Lumia 710 and the Nokia Lumia 800C (the Chinese variant which runs on a CDMA network), the update has already been rolled out. The imminent release of the date is rumored to be soon but there is no exact date as to when it will be announced as yet.

It is expected to land along with the Windows 7.5 Refresh update that is also called Tango. Many carriers are charging users for internet tethering when they are on a contract for Apple iPhones as well as several Android powered phones. With regards to internet tethering on Windows Phones, the carriers have not many any such announcements yet but there is a chance that they might implement a similar system. As for phones that were purchased unlocked, you will be able to take advantage of the feature that was not touted to be a part of it when both devices were first shipped.
