Twitter updates iPhone app; Mention and Interaction refresh bug fixed

The mini-blogging website has released an update to its iPhone app that fixes a bug with ‘Mentions’ as well as a glitch with ‘Interactions’ that causes it to stop refreshing. Prior to the update, the only way to remedy the ‘Interactions’ bug was to uninstall and reinstall the application. According to Twitter (via TheNextWeb), “(the update) fixes an issue where some users not receiving updates for Mentions and Interactions in the Connect tab.”

Allegedly, this is a problem that has been seen to be popping up over the last few days with many users with ruffled feathers complaining that their @mentions, favorites, retweets and others were not refreshing regardless of how many times they used the ‘pull and release to update’ mechanism currently implemented on Twitter’s iPhone app. The update will bring Twitter up to version 4.1.3 and will be available in the App Store for download. As for Android users, Twitter has also fixed the bug that seemed to similar.
