Transformer Pad TF300 Price and Availability Announced
The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 is a statement as to how Android tablet manufacturers are reducing their prices to try and gain a larger market share in comparison to Apple’s iPad range of devices. The device is set to hit stores on 30 April and will retail for a relatively affordable $379. The tablet features a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280×800 pixels of resolution, a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera, a 1.2MP front facing camera, built-in stereo speaks with Asus SonicMaster technology, microSD card slot, in either 16GB or 32GB ($399) variants. The reasons why the tablet is a full $120 less than its older brother the Transformer Prime is because the image quality has been compromised slightly albeit still amazing and also the aluminum chassis has been replaced with a strong plastic casing. For all of you who have been holding out on the Asus Eee Transformer Prime due to its price tag of $499, this might seem like a viable option for you.
