Sprint’s Nexus S 4G Gets Ice Cream Sandwich [Official]

For all the Sprint Nexus S 4G owners, you will finally be getting the official Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. Both, Google and Sprint have confirmed that the update will be rolling out for your devices beginning April 5^th and will continue over the next few weeks. The software which will be sent via and over-the-air (OTA) rollout will be sent in waves to certain subsets of individuals daily.

If you are part of the many who has been constantly looking forward to it and even gave a little dance when the leaked version of the official version came out, I would recommend checking your “About Phone” section every day for an update option. Although it won’t speed things up, it does give you something to do while imagining the OS finally gracing your phone after so long even when you bought a Nexus device in the hope that your device would be one of the first to get the new taste of succulent Ice Cream Sandwich.
