Splashtop will be Pre-loaded on Lenovo Tablets

Splashtop the company famous for its award-winning Splashtop Remote Desktop HD has announced that when the new Lenovo Thinkpad tablets launch, it will be pre-loaded with Splashtop software this enabling it to be seamlessly connect and share content and applications. With the software already loaded, the Thinkpads can be turned into a veritable digital home or office private cloud.

Lenovo seem to be equally happy with the decision to incorporate the remote desktop software on their devices and Mark Cohen, vice president Ecosystem and Monetization for Lenovo said, “This is our first step towards enabling cloud services and the sharing of content and applications across multi-devices and multi-screens that Thinkpad users desire.”

The intertwining of this software with Lenovo’s hardware will begin in May and the tablets will be preloaded with Splashtop Remote Desktop HD which usually retails at $19.99 and Lenovo Thinkpad PCs will get Splashtop Streamer pre-loaded. The app can be purchased on the Lenovo App Store, Lenovo Enterprise App Shop, Google Play and Amazon Appstore for Android.
