Shazam, the renowned music identification application announced the launch of its latest version, 5.0. The app will be available from the iTunes App Store and the creators claim that the update needs a significantly reduced time to successfully tag a song. According to an article by our friends over at TheVerge, the company states that it will now be able to identify songs and certain TV content in as little as one second which is huge considering the previous versions which used to do the same task bar the TV content in nearly 30 seconds. Besides the quick-fire tagging, the app also comes with a new and sleek interface as well as languages including Brazilian, Portuguese, Korean and Spanish for South America. For Android devices, an update has been sent out this month that will allow the app to deliver the same blazing tagging speeds as iOS users will get.
