Samsung Trademarks Another 3 Names
To add even more to the already Samsung-filled day we’ve had, the South Korean technology giant has gone through the processes to trademark another 3 names for possible upcoming devices. The names of the devices in question all of which carry the prefix, ‘Galaxy’ are Metrix, Legend and Velvet. There is the chance that these names could be attached to future smartphones or tablets that might be rolling out but another equally plausible explanation which could lead to a faster roll out for US carrier variants of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3.
In the past, customers have had to wait for long periods of time before their respective carriers had garnered their own variant of any device in question with a different name in some cases. If rumors are to be believed then the wait will be cut down this year. Since only T-Mobile might be the only carrier that could support the international version of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 model with the least ‘handicaps’, users from other carriers such as Verizon, AT&T and Sprint are sure to be looking out for details about the upcoming device and when it will be landing on their carrier.
