Canada’s Rogers Wireless Offers HTC One X on Pre-order
Canada-based Wireless Carrier has started the ball rolling by announcing that it is not accepting pre-orders for HTC’s new flagship product, the One X. The phone will come on a 3 year contract commitment which seems to be normal in Canada since it is practiced by most of the network operators there. The phone is already available for pre-order now at $169.99 on the above mentioned 3-year contract.
Rogers has stated that this offer will only be on for a limited time until April 30th and after that date they have not mentioned what changes will be made but the safe money is on the price going up. Besides the pre-order offer, HTC has organized a contest in which applicants can win a Prize Pack that includes a trip to the 2012 Much Music Video Awards. The model of One X that is in question here is not the Nvidia Tegra 3 one but the Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S4 powered on which as readers might have seen, is no slouch.
