Labrinth and iLuminate take Centre Stage at Xperia Imagination Event

Sony enlisted the services of UK singer Labrinth along with America’s Got Talent act iLuminate to help launch the Xperia brand in One Mayfair London a day after RIM threw a BBM party which ended in a stabbing. The line of Xperia smartphones that was the cause for celebration contains the Xperia S which is already available and the Xperias U and P which are reported to be available in Q2 of this year.

Labrinth performed singles from his debut album Electronic Earth and was joined on stage by iLuminate for a dazzling performance as can be viewed in the video above. According to Labrinth, “It was fantastic to perform tracks from Electronic Earth at the Xperia event and seeing the crowd’s reaction was amazing. My ethos is musical freedom and tonight was all about how when you let your imagination run wild, there are no limits to what you can create.”
