Gmail Goes Down for a Brief Moment

For just about 45 minutes, Gmail’s email service by Google was reported to be down. In that short span of time, complaints flocked the interweb and seemed to cause a panic for users that are apparently not used to glitches which from Gmail’s perspective, very rare. Some of the reports claim that as of Tuesday afternoon, they are unable to access their email accounts. After fixing the error, Google took to Twitter to thank users for making them aware of the ‘500 Error’ issue and stated that some of the users may be able to access their accounts but for those who couldn’t a fix would soon be on its way.

Now apparently, everything has been settled and users can access their accounts without any issue. Apparently, the outage happened more for users of handheld devices such as mobile phones and tablets. Now however, Hotmail and other email clients can stop gloating because everything has been settled. Take a minute and imagine what would have happened if Gmail had gone down for a whole day.
