Galaxy S III Packs Quad-Core CPU [Rumor]

As always with a device as anticipated as the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 which is confirmed to be launched on May 3^rd, the rumors about it have been far from scarce. It has now come to the point where all the alleged leaks and rumors are starting to contradict each other and now with the latest leak, the folks over at the Verge have reported that a source which it claims to be close to the company confirms the May 3 event in London for the upcoming Samsung flagship product and also a juicy tit-bit that the device will in fact pack a quad-core processor, at least in the global variant of the smartphone.

On top of that the phrase, “Expect superlative benchmark performance” was used. Whether or not it is the same Exynos processor that is used in the Meizu MX we do not know but we hope to be able to find out in about 2 weeks. With regard to further details, we’ll just have to wait and see since May 3^rd isn’t that far off anyway.
