Ematic Launches Affordable 7-inch ICS Tablet with 3D Glasses
While we all might want either an Asus Transformer Prime or Apple’s new iPad sometimes price is a major factor. Ematic on the other hand has some good news for you with its new product. The company just announced and started taking orders for their new 7-inch tablet called the eGlide Prism. The 7-inch LCD screen offers a resolution of 800×480 pixels, a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and 5GB of free cloud-based storage.
Among its features nothing really stands out except for the inclusion of a HD video player that supports up to 2160p 3D videos. From the box, along with the usual things like the USB cable and power charger, there is also another little surprise, a pair of 3D glasses. The Prism runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is said to be smooth and snappy. The Ematic eGlide Prism is set to retail for $216 but for a short time, it is available at Shop NBC for a very affordable $157.16. What do you think about this futuristic looking and affordable tablet? I personally love the fact that you get 3D glasses with it.
