Cheaper iPhone Nano Rumored to Launch This Year

A report by the China Times indicates that Apple is in the midst of releasing a low-cost iPhone “nano” this year. The report elaborates that Apple’s move is to garner more market share on the lower-end spectrum of the smartphone market. Other rumors also state that the lesser iPhone “nano” will debut alongside the upcoming Apple flagship smartphone. This seems repetitive since there was also news about a nano with the launching of the iPhone 4S as well.

That news was music to people who could afford the price of the iPhone 3GS but didn’t want to buy it because it was “old”. That said however, this is also not the first “mini” rumor that Apple has had to contend with seeing that earlier this month, there were rumors circulating around the internet stating that the Cupertino technology giant is planning on releasing a mini version of the iPad which is said to measure up at 7.85-inches and will allegedly set you back anywhere from $249 to $299.
