Budget Dual-Sim LG Cookie Spotted

It seems that there might be another addition to the vast range of budget smartphones available to us. The latest possible addition to the family is a low-end dual-SIM LG device called the Cookie Smart. Details about the device was leaked and its rumored specifications include a 3.2-inch 320×240 pixel display, a 2MP camera, WiFi connectivity, it weighs 96g, probability of being a dual-GSM SIM phone is very high, and the phone will be running a proprietary OS.

Besides, that not much else is know about the rumored device but reports say that the full touchscreen interface with capacitive buttons will be a hit with dual-SIM budget smartphone fans. LG is definitely looking to get in with the markets that deal with lower-end devices seeing as it is currently fifth on a global level behind Samsung, Nokia, Apple and ZTE. While the device might not rock the specs from the Galaxy Nexus or iPhone 4S, we must bear in mind that one man’s rubbish is another’s treasure or vice-versa. We each look for different things on our mobile devices and I sincerely believe that the market for a budget device such as the alleged Cookie Smart does exist.
