BlackBerry 4G PlayBook in the Works

In a fight to become relevant again, the rumored BlackBerry 4G PlayBook has been confirmed as a forum poster from CrackBerry who has allegedly had access to the tablet’s prototype showed some pictures which highlight the similarities between RIM’s original PlayBook besides having 4G connectivity as well as BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) pre-loaded.

There are still a few things on the PlayBook which cannot be confirmed just yet such as the processor which is said to be bumped up to 1.5GHz following the original tablet which had a 1GHz processor and the other thing is whether 4G stands for LTE or just HSPA+. Considering the financial sinkhole that the company is currently enduring, it would be a huge risk if RIM took the original PlayBook which was not a hit, tweaked it just a little and released it for sale.
