AT&T Launch LG Xpression C395 Messaging Phone
During the time of the Nokia 3310, what people craved from their mobile devices was simply to place calls and send text messages. Changing the little LEDs in the screens and the color of the backlight in the keypad became the in thing for a short time. Now, a group regardless of how much of a minority they are exists that don’t want an expensive smartphone. They feel that it is unnecessary to spend that much of money just to perform those simple functions of calling and texting. For those people, AT&T has launched a new phone which specializes in texting.
The LG Xpression C395 which can be bought for a mere $50 on a two year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate or an unlocked version can be purchased for $219. The Xpression comes with a 3-inch WQVGA display with 240 x 400 pixels in resolution, 3G data, 2MP camera, Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot and AT&T’s preloaded Social Net app to provide easy access to social networking services if they are interested in that. The highlight that would make this device attractive to customers looking to text is the allegedly text-friendly QWERTY keyboard that comes on the Xpression. Do you know anyone who would prefer a simple and affordable smartphone just to fit their basic needs? Maybe you can point them in this device’s direction.
