Asus Transformer Prime to receive important update this week
Asus has announced that it is coming up with an update packed with “awesome new features” for its Transformer Prime. The company stated that the features that have been looked into and upgraded are a result of what many of the users asked for on their Facebook page including ad-hoc network support, compatibility with USB to LAN adapters, and a persistent browser user agent (the browser will remember your preference, mobile or desktop)
Besides those mentioned above, other features that will be included in the update are as follows: ‘lock screen notification management which would allow a user to view and delete notifications or if the need arises, to jump straight into the relevant application to address the notification. Face Unlock which reared its head (pardon the pun) during the Android 4.0 ICS launch, ASUS Vibe which has been updated to 2.0 from 1.0 with improved content selection, services and a new UI. Besides that, the HDMI calibration has also been upgraded to include options for orientation and cropping. It is expected that the dynamic update will be rolling out sometime this week but some sources in the know say that it will begin this Friday.
