Sony Xperia S anti-stain nanocoating put to the test

A while back we reported that the Sony Xperia S had a particular unique feature, which was its anti-stain nanocoating. Well it looks like someone decided to put that to the test by grabbing a permanent marker and scribbling all over the back of a white Xperia S device. The demonstrator then grabbed an eraser and proceeded to erase the heck out of the device, which ultimately removed the marker ink. It’s not a move we recommend to Xperia S owners out there, but it we guess it’s good to know that you can change your self-drawn designs on the back of an Xperia S whenever you want simply by using a wet cloth or an eraser! Check out the somewhat cringeworthy video above for a demonstration, although we can’t help but feel that whatever nanocoating that was on the device might have been erased away. Ouch.
