At MWC earlier this week, Sony took the wraps off two new handsets, the Xperia P and the Xperia U. However it seems that the company has more phones up their sleeves that did not make an appearance at MWC, and it is in the form of the Sony LT29i, codenamed “Hayabusa”. The device was spotted in a NenaMark2 benchmark test, which revealed that the device was sporting the Adreno 225 GPU, indicating that it could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 processor.

It also revealed that the device would be clocked at 1.5GHz with a dual-core processor, and oddly enough a display resolution of 720×1196, which we’re assuming is some sort of bug and that the final display should be 720×1280. It was also shown that the handset will be running on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Unfortunately apart from this benchmark result, we don’t really know much about the device or how it will look like, but we’re hoping that more will be revealed in time.
