A while back, there were reports that suggested that Samsung was the sole provider of displays for Apple’s new iPad. The reason behind this was because Sharp, another one of the display manufacturers for the new iPad’s display, could not produce enough panels that met Apple’s quality standards. Well if you were worried that this might cause unnecessary delays in the iPad’s production, fret not as according to a fresh set of reports, Sharp is reportedly back in the game and are trying to ramp up production and are expected to start shipments as soon as possible.

Surprisingly despite Apple reportedly relying solely on Samsung for the first round on iPads, Apple has managed to produce enough inventory for pre-order sales along with enough units to satisfy customers on launch day itself. In any case, if you were hoping to get your hands on the new iPad, according to Apple’s website, placing an order now would result in you having to wait 2-3 weeks before you see the tablet make its way into your hands.
