SEGA announces Total War Battles: Shogun for iOS and Android

Gamers who have enjoyed SEGA’s Total War series of games will be excited to hear that Total War Battles: Shogun will be making its way onto iOS and Android. Even better, instead of it being a mere PC port onto mobile devices, Shogun has been designed specifically for mobile devices in mind.

While this means we get to enjoy the series on our mobile devices, it will also mean that unlike its PC counterpart, we can’t expect epic battles of that sort, but we guess SEGA makes up for it by allowing you to bring the game with you wherever you go, and there’s even a multiplayer mode where players can compete against each other on the same device.

No word on pricing just yet, but it should be noted that for the iOS version of the game, the game will scale itself according to which iOS device you are playing from, i.e. iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc, and hopefully the game will also be taking advantage of the new iPad’s Retina display. Look out for its release come 19th of April.
